Preceded in death by parents, David and Hilda Shields and four sisters.
Survived by loving wife of 54 years, Theresa; son, Jim Jr. (Diane); daughter, Roxanne; granddaughters, Shanessa (Joe), Shanelle (Austin); great-grandchildren, Aspyn, Colin, Everly and many other relatives and friends.
Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Vikings and the Minnesota Twins. He also enjoyed taking long rides with his wife. Jim was a warrior to the end. A special thank you to the United Hospital Healthcare Team for their outstanding work.
A Celebration of Jim's life will be Friday, November 20, 2020 from 4-7 pm at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
Due to Covid guidelines, the funeral home is at 50% occupancy and a mask is required to be worn.
