It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our precious mother, sister, and friend Haja Mabinty Ekudayo Wolfe (commonly known as Miss Eku). She passed away on Saturday, July 31st, 2021, at the Methodist Hospital in St Louis Park.
Miss Eku was the first of four children from the late George Abialah Wolfe and Haja Mabinty Wolfe.
Miss Eku attended the YWCA Vocational Institute in Freetown, Sierra Leone. She worked as a Telephone Operator for the Sierra Leone Post and Tele Communications Department, which later became known as SIERRATEL. She spent most of her working years in Kenema in the Eastern Province of Sierra Leone. In 2003, she migrated to Minnesota, United States. Miss Eku was a devout Christian who worshipped at the Eastern Heights Lutheran Church in Saint Paul since she migrated to the United States. She enjoyed socializing with friends and family. As a very good cook, friends and family will miss her delicious meals. She was a motherly figure to many.
She is survived by her three children Victoria John, Fatmata During, and Memuna Conteh.
Grandchildren: Benas, Fadil, Abdul-Rahim, Khadija, Alfred, Remson, Olabisie. Elizabeth, Lovenna, Kira, Cerenity, Jostiana, Hannah, and Samlina
Brothers: Abraham Adolphus Raymond Wolfe and Josiah Olabisie Wolfe.
Several cousins including Pastor Alfred Wolfe, Drucilla Dakrub, Claudius George, Rosamon Knuckles, Elizabeth Lewis, Emmanuel Kennick, and many more.
Sons-in-law including Hon Ibrahim Tawa Conteh, Oloh During, Victor Salami, John Coffie, Augustine Amara, Pastor Joshua Baion, Kindo Kamara and many more.
Several nieces and nephews including Eliza Salami, Adolphia, Rayla, Raymond, Cynthia, Abialah, Susan Kamara, Dayo, Miniru, Bintu Amara, Ishmeal, Aasie, Karim, Isaac, Samlina Cawray, Christiana Baion, and many more.
Other relatives include the Wolfe family of Waterloo, Wolfe Family of Wilberforce, Wolfe & Kamara families of London, George family of Murray Town, Cawray family, Mansaray, Turay & Kamara families of Tonkorya and Masinneh.

Funeral: Friday August 27th, 2021, at 10 AM. Eastern Heights Lutheran Church, 616 Ruth Street, Saint Paul, MN 55119.
Interment at the Union Cemetery, 2505 Minnehaha Avenue East, Maplewood.
Repass at the Battle Creek Pavilion immediately after interment.
