Survived by children, Gerald II (Cheryl), Julie Tinkham, Jessica (Ron) Gillitzer, and Karl (Therese); grandchildren, Holly Tinkham, Elizabeth (Matt) Whitten, Kristy (Jeff) Norton, Casey (Kayla) Gillitzer, Tess Scherbel, Jeffrey Gillitzer, Jocelyn Scherbel, Joseph Scherbel; great-grandchildren, Rose, Oliver, and Vaeda Whitten; Isla and Arlo Norton; Lincoln Gillitzer; brother Jim; and many nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends for Gerald will be held Monday, January 20, 2025 from 4 to 7 PM, with a service and Military Honors presented at 6 PM, at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Drive, Woodbury, MN 55125.
