Passed away peacefully Monday, January 23, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; sister, Julia; brothers, Huey and Floyd; and parents, Hjalmer and Malvina. Georgann will be deeply missed by her children, Michelle “Shelly” (Jeff) Merkling, Daniel “Dan” Jones, and Sherri (Ken) Kelzer; grandchildren, Angela (Matt) Paschal, Selina (Mike Mello) Merkling, Mikala (Phil) Bookshaw, Courtney Kelzer, and Kim Kelzer; great-grandsons, Bentley Paschal and Ryker Paschal; other family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, January 27 from 4-7 pm with a prayer service at 6:30 pm at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury. Memorial Mass will be Saturday at 10:30 am with visitation one hour prior at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4125 Woodbury Dr., Woodbury. Inurnment at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org in Memory of Georgann Jones.
