Gail Mary Wessels

Preceded in death by parents, sister Bernadine Potts and brother Richard Gerner. Gail graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy and Miller Hospital School of Nursing and spent 30 + years at Stillwater Medical Group.

Survived by loving husband of 62 years Walter Wessels; much loved children, Tim (Polly) Wessels, Terre (Carrie) Wessels, Marybeth (Steve) Misgen, and Richard (Dawn) Wessels; awesome grandchildren Emily (Joe) Allen, Tim Jr. (Kelly) Wessels, Rudy (Emily) Wessels, Sara Misgen, Nick Misgen, Kellen (Becca) Wessels, Devin Wessels. Loving “Gigi” to Leo, Lily, Sully and Finnegan Allen, Harrison Wessels, Nora and Bennett Wessels. She loved traveling the world and spending winters in Florida. But most of all she cherished her time with family and many friends. Gail was a positive influence on many with her joyful personality and generosity. She was a long time member and volunteer at Presentation Church and most recently at Guardian Angels Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM with Visitation 1 hour prior to service, from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 4th St. N, Oakdale, MN 55128. A luncheon will immediately follow inurnment at church.
