Died peacefully April 10, 2016. Preceded in death by husband, Dick; infant daughter, Martha; parents, Bertha and Ferdinand Kuhlmann; brother, Herb and son-in-law, Bruce. Survived by daughter, Jane Dibbern; son, Thomas (Margo); grandchildren, Jonathan and Sarah Dibbern. Evelyn was born in Ute, IA May 30, 1920. She was a "master" teacher, beginning her career teaching rural school in IA, and at Lutheran schools in Indiana, North Dakota and Gethsemane Lutheran in St. Paul. She married Richard "Dick" Fisher November 21, 1943 and they shared 71 wonderful years together. Funeral service 11AM Friday 4/15/16 at Woodbury Lutheran Church, 7380 Afton Rd., Woodbury. Visitation 1 hour prior. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Woodbury Lutheran Church.
