She lived in Woodbury 58 years, moving to Woodbury when it was a township. She was active in the Woodbury School District PTA until her youngest graduated Woodbury High School in 1976. She enjoyed her years of service as an election judge in which she served for many elections. She loved to talk and meet new people. She was active until the very end, attending the Don Henley concert in August 2016 at the MN State Fair. She loved the Eagles and Andy Williams. Elaine loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren immensely. Her kitchen and living room walls were full of their pictures. The kids lovingly referred to it as the "Wall of Shame". But it was her wall of love. She could still name them all.
