Doris Eileen Johnson

Doris was born on Christmas morning, 1939, at home in Cady Township, Spring Valley, WI.

Doris retired from 3M and enjoyed golf, was an active church member and was known to make the best peanut brittle. Doris touched the lives of many with her warmth and generosity and will be remembered for her sense of adventure; proudly making it to all 50 states, as well as Canada, Mexico, and Ireland, and took bus trips and “mystery” trips with her friends.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Donald (2003), and son, Steven (2021). Survived by daughter Karla (Bob) Rangitsch, son Scott (Ann) Johnson, daughter-in-law Rhonda Johnson, grandchildren Aaron (Rachael) Johnson, Chris (Ellie) Olson, Mandi Voller (Jesse Vargason), Andrew (Angie) Rangitsch, Brett Rangitsch, Ryan Johnson (Niki Fisher), Ally Johnson; as well as nine great-grandchildren, brother Dale (Kay) Strom, sister-in-law JoAnn Johnson, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Thursday, December 14, 3:00 Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Oakdale, MN with visitation one hour prior. Celebration of Life 4-7 at Oak Marsh Golf Course, Willow Room, Oakdale, MN.
