David Pederson, age 97, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2018, just a couple days after his last shopping trip and online orders were made. He was born on August 22, 1920 in Bismarck, North Dakota to Carl and Amelia Pederson.
David will be deeply missed by Margie, his Wife of 66 years; Daughter, Jane (Mark Freiberg) Pederson; Grandchildren, David, John and Erika Freiberg; Nieces and Nephews, including Deb (Steve) Rose, Laurie (Mike) McBride, Pam (Lowell) Uhden, Keven Ross; Sister-In-Law, Lorraine (Jim) Aanerud.
David was a dapper dresser and was rarely seen without his beloved fedora or “MG” hat. He liked Old English cars, specifically MG’s, however his daughter always said “he should have bought the Morgan.” He also liked cooking and listening to country music. When asked his secret to a long life, David typically replied, “a brandy every evening before supper.”
Visitation will take place at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury on Sunday, April 8 from 5-7pm. Funeral service will take place at Christ Episcopal Church, 7305 Afton Rd, Woodbury, on Monday, April 9 at 3pm.
