Cole Kincaid Anders (26 years old) came into the world on September 30th, 1997 in St. Paul, MN to Todd and Rae Ann Anders and 3-year-old sister, Erica. He grew up in Eagan, MN attending Eastview High School before graduating from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with a Business Degree. Cole was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. After college, he explored a career in marketing but ultimately found more enjoyment working in the electrical field.
Although Cole passed at a young age, he experienced a life of adventure. He traveled extensively with his family and during college studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain along with visiting multiple European countries. He also found peace being in nature and spending time on the North Shore.
Cole was a sports enthusiast whether he was playing hockey, football, baseball, skiing, golfing or biking, or following college and professional sports. Cole was charismatic, had a captivating way of bringing laughter and joy to others, and lived life with resilience and strength. He will always be remembered as a dedicated friend and one who loved his family dearly.
Like everyone else on earth, Cole had struggles; one’s he bravely battled through privately despite his deepest efforts and support from family and friends. Although there will continue to be more questions than answers, and we will all ruminate on what more we could have done; Cole knew that he was deeply loved and cared for by those closest to him. In the end, love transcends all. We will cherish the good memories and it has been an honor to be chosen to walk alongside Cole on his journey.
Cole’s death was a result of alcohol; physically and mentally his body was no longer able to support him. He had no trauma or harm to himself.
Cole was preceded in death by grandparents Leon & Eileen Anders and Charles & Jacqueline Petrowske. He is survived by his parents Todd & Rae Ann Anders, sister Erica Small & brother-in-law Cole Small, along with many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
