In the 20+ years I've been working with Realtors in the Twin Cities area... NEVER have I met a Realtor/person like Bob who was as kind, good natured and had a strong desire to help everyone he met with everything they did.   I am proud  and honored to have been his friend... not just a "business partner".   Prayers to you and your family Kiki.

Bob was such a kind hearted friend to so many of us in the real estate industry. He was smart, a great listener, quick witted, and he had such a huge and caring heart for all of his clients and fellow agents. He was also someone who I know had a very strong faith in Jesus. I was honored to have the opportunity to work with him for a number of years. His kindness and gentle spirit were treasured by all those who knew him. We are all going to miss Bob terribly. On behalf of our entire team of agents, we are sending Kiki and all of Bob's family and friends our sincerest condolences and prayers. God Bless you all, now and always. 


Bob was my best friend.
To say Bob was just a friend, would be a vast understatement. We met at Bethel College in 1986, thanks to my good friend Steve "Stewpot" Stewart. We hit the weight room often, as he was on the football team. Bob was huge, always working out and trying to get stronger. I was a skinny runner/choir boy. Bob tried to put some meat on me! Lol. Try as he might, I stayed trim, but got stronger. After Bethel we encouraged each other to continue studying. Bob went back to Northwestern to finish his degree, I returned to Bethel to pursue Organizational Management. After college, we discussed going into the Navy. We both signed up. Bob got in and I did too but I blew out my knee playing basketball before bootcamp. Bob kept after me to go in, but I never got the chance. Bob came to visit my Grandparents, as I was taking care of them for 10 years in their home. He was always so kind to Grandma and she loved his visits. She was in a wheelchair so his visits really cheered her up. Bob had this uncanny way of just showing up unannounced or calling out of the blue, "Hey Mike, are you home? I'm in the neighborhood." Or, "Hey Mike, meet me in an hour." He would pick the place.  I always made an effort, although couldn't always meet him. We hacked out the problems of the world, mostly Bob listening to me, giving me his two bits of advice.  With his moves to San Diego and Co., just like the Navy, Bob kept after me to move where he and Kiki lived. San Diego sure was tempting. So too was Colorado. But I stayed in Mn. Bob loved football. Fantasy Football Draft Day was an annual holiday, and Bob, the Comish. One fun draft, we all went down to Bob's in Co. Springs. Of course his goal was to try to get some of us to move down there. Eventually Bob moved back to Mn. We talked every week and worked on our business ventures.  We hit the golf course, and Vikings/Packers at Bobs were the best!!! Life won't be the same without you buddy. You will be missed! Go Vikings! Skoal

I was Bob's Friend.

We were friends... but knowing that I was Bob's friend was different.  He cared enough about me to consider me HIS friend and that is what was special.

If you were lucky enough to be Bob's friend... you know what I'm talking about.  

From when I first met Bob about 5 years ago at a Real Estate/Mortgage class... we hit it off.  His constant thirst for information to become the best Realtor he could be was infectious.   Of all the Realtors that I've met in the last 20+ years he was one of only a few that had a burning desire to help me with my business.  It was so invigorating to have him constantly introduce me to his friends in the industry.  His passion for helping others is what made me (and others I can only guess) want to help him and just be around him.  The positive vibe of "do onto others" that Bob lived every day was what drew me to want to be around him and watch him and his business grow.

Another blessing I'm proud of having Bob in my life was when he helped organize a small Christian based mastermind group.  Bob approached me about being one of the initial members of the Fishers group.  The fellowship we had in that group allowed me to really get to know Bob better as a Christian.

Bob's humble nature and humility will be missed.  I'm curious if very few of his clients / associates knew of his time in the military and his service to our country.  TYFYS Bob.  Any and all Veterans deserve to proudly display their time served and be thanked and honored.

Bob was a very sweet man and a welcome addition to our mini high school reunions. He was a kind soul, with humor and wit.  His obvious love and respect for his wife Kiki, a dear friend, were immediately endearing. Sharing a picture of one of our group outings. Deepest condolences to family and friends.

Between Irondale High School, Salem Baptist Church, Bethel College and Seminary, plus our acquaintance and cordiality throughout the same, Bob strived to be the best he could possibly be, for his family and for all those who enjoyed the privilege of interaction with this very lovely gentleman.  Yes, Bob did have challenges through his life.  I know that Jesus was with him throughout his life and helped him greatly.  Kiki was really great to help Bob with his life too, and they were wonderful together.  Their dog Lexi was also a great helpmate.  While I have not engaged with Bob myself a lot in the last few years since I'm a Massachusetts man now and he stayed in Minnesota, I know Bob and I will be together as brothers through Jesus in the Heavenly realm.  May his name and memory be a blessing

I was so saddend to hear of Bob's passing.  He was a bright spot in our office. He enjoyed talking to other Realtors, giving his insight, helping others and listening to thoughts and advice from colleagues. I admired how he showed up for work, got things done and advocated diligently for his clients.  

He was so happy about passing the test for his pilots license.  I told him that was my 5 year plan 15 years ago.  He was fulflling that dream.  I will miss him, his smile and his quirkiness, which is what made Bob, Bob.  God speed my friend.

Looking at photos of Bob on Facebook today reminded me what a bright light he was.  He has so many photos of him enjoying simple things with Kiki like hiking, dinner on a restaurant patio, and just being in nature.  I had the pleasure of talking with Bob recently at an outdoor gathering to celebrate Kiki's birthday.  Bob expressed how happy he was with his work and how freeing it was to not be stuck in an office.  We talked about one of his passions; his favorite team, the MN Vikings!  Mostly, we just enjoyed the warm summer day, wonderful company, Kiki's happiness celebrating her birthday, and a few cold beverages and birthday cake.  Bob, you were taken too young, but you enjoyed your work, your friends, your family, your wife Kiki, and your life, and that is what matters.  Love from Paula and Ron!
