We are very saddened by your loss and would like to express our deepest condolences on behalf of family members in Hamburg, Germany.

We will remember Arnold as a kind, wise, active and funny person. It was always a pleasure to spend time with Irma and him.

I served as his assistant at Grace Lutheran in Santurce, Puerto Rico for one year to prepare for Spanish work in Philadelphia. Pastor Wuertz was an inspiration sharing work with a  Catholic priest in that area to help  the poor.  Together they sponsored several poor men in furthering their education in the States.

     He and his family were always warm-hearted to me and made my stay inspirational.
