Tracey was a bright light in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
She was predeceased by her true love Andrew Runns; paternal grandparents Clifford and Marita Hotomani; maternal grandparents Iona Deegan and Levi Eashappie.
Tracey is survived by her precious children Aiden, Ayanna and Kamdyn; parents Elvis Hotomani and Carrie Deegan; siblings: Terra, Arlene (Mitch), Marcel, Lauren, Kari (Lance), Arnold (Chantel), Mandy and twin brother Travis. She also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles and her special cousin Jaylee Eashappie.
Tracey loved her children with her whole heart and more. She dedicated her life to nurturing and loving them every day. Tracey was a beacon of kindness and compassion, always helping and offering a listening ear. Her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter had the power to light up any room, creating cherished memories for all who knew and loved her. Tracey will be profoundly missed and her love and legacy will continue to inspire those she left behind. She will always remain in our hearts.
The wake service was held in Carry The Kettle Nakoda Nation Community Hall on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service was held in Carry The Kettle Nakoda Nation Community Hall on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Knowledge Keeper Clyde O'Watch, Rev. Bernard Jack and Joanne Jack officiating. The interment took place in the South Cemetery.
The pallbearers were: Michael Runns, Marcel Aisaican, Arnold Hotomani, Carson Aisaican, Heath Hotomani and Scott Eashappie. The honorary pallbearers were: Jaylee Eashappie, Tila Aisaican, Errolyn Hotomani, Dawna Allary, Chrissie Kirchner and Andrea O’Watch.
