Sherrie Lynn is survived by her husband Dan Demyen; her sons Spencer and Alex Keenan; Dan's children Christopher (Brittany), Mitchell and Kyle Demyen and Nicole (Dave) Roy-Hampton.
Sherrie Keenan was born Oct 22, 1967 in Meadow Park Vancouver to parents Roger and Shirley Elkhurst. She grew up in British Columbia, married and had two sons Spencer and Alex. When the boys were young Sherrie moved to Saskatchewan where she held various jobs as a store manager, meat cutter, warehouse worker and most recently finished her schooling to become a health care provider.
Sherrie and Dan met while working together and became friends for many years. In 2009 she moved to the farm to live with Dan. Sherrie loved her home, her garden, fishing and trapping with Dan. They were best friends and built a home where they welcomed their children, family and friends. They loved to entertain together and always served food from the bounty they grew on their farm. Sherrie loved antiques and could bring life back to any old dresser or cabinet. She turned a house into a home for Dan. With every season she would decorate their home mostly with handmade items, her favorite season was Christmas. When she was done decorating it was like walking into Santa's workshop.
She had a very gentle soul, quiet and unassuming, but in that quiet way would tease and poke fun at Dan and laugh. She was happy with her life, she loved Dan and all their children. Sherrie was taken from us too soon and will be sadly missed.
