We are saddened to announced the sudden passing of our brother Shawn George Swanson on January 15, 2022 on Peepeekisis First Nation.
Shawn was predeceased by our parents George and Brenda Swanson and one brother Shane Swanson. As well as numerous close relatives and friends.
Shawn lived for his daughters, they are his most treasured possession in his world, his girls Kura, Bino, Albie and Bubba. Shawn is survived by his only brother Gil Swanson and only sister Krystal (Bryan Jr) Swanson and a lot of close relatives and friends too numerous to mention that he kept close to his heart.
Traditional wake service was held on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. in Peepeekisis School, Peepeekisis First Nation. Following the next day funeral Monday January 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the same location. He was laid to rest with our parents and our brother Shane in Starblanket First Nation Cemetery.
