Sharon McCARTHY

November 1, 1959 – December 11, 2013

On Wednesday, December 11, 2013 Sharon McCarthy beloved wife of Lyle McCarthy, Corning, SK passed away at the age of 54 years. The funeral service will be held in the Corning Community Hall, Corning, SK on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Lynette Callfas officiating. Sharon was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Wilson and Edna Rowe and her mother and father-in-law, Dorothy and Don McCarthy. She is survived by her husband Lyle; two sons, Blake and Rhett; her mother Irene Rowe, Regina, SK; her father Ray Rowe, Regina Beach, SK.; her sister Linda (Rick) Leeks, Regina, SK; her brothers in-law: Rick (Carol) McCarthy, Onanole, MB; Cal (Janice) McCarthy, Saskatoon, SK; Pat (Lorna) McCarthy, Corning, SK; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sharon was born and educated in Regina, she graduated from the U of R in 1981 and started her teaching career in Corning that fall. She enjoyed a rewarding career in Education for 32 years, retiring in June of 2013. Sharon and Lyle were married in July of 1985. She enjoyed a busy life of family, career and farming. Sharon will be lovingly remembered and forever in our hearts.
