Pauline Gorniak

GORNIAK - It is with great sadness that we the family of Pauline Pearl Gorniak (nee Werbeski), Montmartre, SK., announce her passing peacefully at the age of 88 years with her loved ones by her side. Pauline was born on December 20, 1925 at Montmartre. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Eva Werbeski, two sons-in-law, Gordon Wright and Jeff Tholl, three brothers, Peter, Mike and John Werbeski, five sisters: Edna, Irene, Kay, Mary and Sophia. Pauline is survived by her loving husband Paul of 71 years and by her four daughters; Shirley Wright (Henry Klassen) Biggar, SK., Daphne Chandler (Malcolm Bennett) Crossfield, AB., Patricia Strong, Montmartre and Paulette Tholl, Windthorst, SK. She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and their families, and one great great grandson, two sisters-in-law; Margaret Gorniak and Stella Gorniak and numerous nieces and nephews. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Prayers will be held in Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. with the Funeral Liturgy on Friday May 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Fr. Andrei Kachur. Interment in Sts.
