Myrna Winnifred Krafchuk

February 15, 1934 - December 8, 2012 On December 8, 2012 Myrna passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital at the age of 78. Myrna was born in 1934 in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan and she and her twin, Marie, were the youngest in a family of nine children born to Wesley and Marjorie Allen. Myrna is survived by her daughters: Colleen (Terry) Falkenberg of Calgary and Karen (Terry) Smith of Kamloops as well as five grandchildren: Jocelyn, Matt, Kate, Lucas and Evelina, her sisters-in-law: Darlene Allen, Jane Krafchuk, Jean (Vern) Reese and brothers-in-law: Bill Krafchuk (Elaine) and Clarence Vanderhaeghe as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, who passed away on October 14, 2012, her parents and all of her brothers and sisters. The family wishes to thank Dr. P. Dehgani and the nurses in the Cardiac Care Unit at the Regina General Hospital as well as the nursing staff at the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital for their wonderful care and support. The funeral mass will be celebrated in St. John's R.C. Church, Earl Street, Balcarres, SK on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. by the Rev. Louis Kim Nguyen. Interment in Balcarres Cemetery. Friends and family are invited for a reception to follow at the Balcarres Seniors Centre, Main Street, Balcarres.
