George was known near and far for his compassion for life, lived and loved a lot of people in different special ways in his time. He danced and sang traditionally with many near and far. He taught and learned from his home community traditional ways. Teaching and guiding and passing along what he has learned from his elders in his life. He was also a good hunter, fisherman, gatherer, an awesome mechanic and builder of things. Teaching his sons, daughters, nephews, nieces, friends and family his ways of things in many ways which will be remembered deeply; an idealist in many aspects of his life. He was straight forward and taught a lot in each their own special ways, for lessons in life which had an impact individually. Always one to seek out knowledge and understanding to pass on to those who needed him in their time of need. He was a friend, a brother, an uncle and a cousin to many to which will be cherished and remember him in their own special way. Always one to make good times, with family and friends, always joking around with everyone, always an ear to listen and guide and comfort those who came to him, sat with him. George is and will always be loved by all those who crossed his path, respected by his friends and family for his own way of life through his whole life, for he was a great man in his own kind of way with each and everyone. He lived all over the U.S.A. and Canada, finally making Sakimay/Shesheep his home. This is where he is being called home to, by his parents Anna and Y.B. Sangwais. To be with his brothers Clifford, Moses and by his sister Marieta; being close to his children: Calvin, Clayton, Coreen and Vanessa (Paul), and finally to be with his grandchildren London and Devon, along with his cousins, nephews and nieces whom dearly he loved.
