On Monday, February 7, 2011, John Henry Roemer, Wolseley, SK., died in the Lakeside Home, Wolseley, at the age of 96 years. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Tubman Funeral Home, Wolseley, SK., on Friday, February 11, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jamie Bushell officiating. Interment in the Wolseley Cemetery. Predeceased by four brothers: Rev. Armein Roemer, Ewalt Roemer, Archie Roemer and Conrad Roemer in infancy; three sisters: Mary McCaslin, Elizabeth Roemer and Christine Giebelhaus; three sisters-in-law Helen Roemer, Irene Roemer and Doris Giebelhaus; three brothers-in-law Clifford McCaslin, Magnar Knutson and Donald Giebelhaus. John is survived by one sister Joan Knutson, Toronto, ON.; one brother Henry (Lydia) Roemer, Tripp, South Dakota, U.S.A as well as his nieces and nephews.
