On Sunday, March 6, 2011, Gerry Cross beloved husband of Olga Cross, Glenavon, SK., passed away at the age of 84 years. The funeral service will be held in St. Andrew’s United Church, Glenavon, SK., on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Lynette Callfas officiating. Cremation with interment in Glenavon Cemetery. Gerry was predeceased by son Dale in 2009, his parents, Harvey and Beatrice Cross, five brothers: Gordon, Howard, Norman, Herbert and Leslie Charles Cross in infancy, eight sisters: Merita Smith, Alma Leech, Evelyn Forbes, Irene Johnstone, Ruth Callfas, Iva Keck, Jean Beckett and Leona Ruby Cross in infancy. Gerry is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years Olga, one daughter, Deborah (Ernest) Prevost, Pilot Butte, SK., daughter-in-law Lil Cross, Glenavon, six grandchildren: Brett (Jessica) Cross, Brittany (Richard) Knoll, Jalyna Bond, Lonnie Prevost, Kelly (Kari- Anne) Prevost, Delaney Prevost (Jeff), and seven great grandchildren, two sisters: Eunice Wagman and Shirley Konaz all of Balgonie as well as his nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire contributions may be made to the Glenavon Cemetery Fund, Box 87, Glenavon, SK. S0G1Y0 may be tokens of remembrance.
