Eileen was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Eileen was well known for making star blankets and her grease bannock.
On Thursday, July 4, 2019 Eileen Eashappie, Carry The Kettle First Nation passed away in Indian Head Hospital at the age of 74 years.
The wake service will be held in Tubman Funeral Home in Wolseley, Saskatchewan on Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held in Carry The Kettle Community Hall on Monday July 8, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with Tim Eashappie officiating. Interment will follow in centre cemetery.
Eileen was predeceased by her parents Gillespie and Georgina; sister Vickie; brothers Vincent, Darcy and Claude; spouse Irvin Ryder; daughter Yolanda; grandson Curtis; father and mother in-law Ruben and Lucy Ryder; sister-in-law Lynda Francis and son-in-law Bernie Adams.
She is survived by her children Pam, Joan (Randy), Melissa (Clinton), Laren (Brigette), Irvin (Tia) Macy, Kerwin (Sherisse); her siblings Rosie (Merk), Diane (Floyd), Jeff (Maxine), Karen (Alvin), Greg, Rolanda (Bud); sister-in-law Madeline; adopted brothers Wayne, Dwight, Kimbal, Kelly and Clyde. She also leaves thirty two grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren; a sister in law Dorothy; two aunts Nancy and Sarah and a special friend Cauli. The family would like to thank the doctor and nurses for her care during her stay in the Indian Head Hospital. Also to the families and relatives who have been there in her time of need.
