Ed traveled to Saskatoon at a young age to attend college, where he met Terry. They were married in 1971 and moved to Wolseley in 1972 where they raised their four children. Ed and Terry farmed until 2019 when the last of cattle left the farm. He was an avid outdoors-man, in which he strived to instill in his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ed became a Queen Scout in 1963. He was active in the local Scouting organization; Scouts, Cubs and Beavers. He was also involved in the community, serving on the school board and a member of the Wolseley Lion’s club. Recently in retirement, Ed and Terry built a cabin at Lake Katepwa, replacing the one that had been in his family for over 100 years. Ed loved spending time at the cabin in the ‘coulee’, where he enjoyed it with his children, grandchildren and brothers.
A private family interment took place in the Wolseley Cemetery on October 28, 2023.
