On Thursday, March 28, 2019, Charles Rope, Carry the Kettle Nakota Nation and late of Regina, SK, died at the age of 55 years.
The wake will be held in the Carry the Kettle Band Hall, on Monday, April 1, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. with prayers being held at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Band Hall, Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Edmund Jordan officiating. Interment in the South cemetery.
Charles was predeceased by his parents Ted and Leota Rope (Haywahe), and one brother Dayton Rope. He is survived by his children: Charlton Rope Jr., Seth Rope, Darian Rope, Janine Rope, Joey Missens (Sugar), Tyrone Romeo Starr and his loving grandchildren; his sisters and brothers: Lorna, Dorothy, Anita, Bill, Conrad (Raylene) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Thanks to niece Dannette for the special and attentive care for her late uncle Charlton and to the medical team for their assistance.
