Bruce McKay

BRUCE McKAY - May 9,1924 - May 19 2011 - On Thursday, May 19, 2011, Bruce McKay, Corning, SK., passed away at the age of 87 years. The funeral service will be held in the Corning Community Hall, Corning, Sk., on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Lynette Callfas officiating. Cremation with interment in Regina Memorial Gardens to follow at a later date. Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Esther McKay, three brothers: Geordie, Bob and Don McKay, two sisters; Marion Hampton and Mae McKay, brother-in-law Ross Hampton and sister-in-law Agnes McKay. Bruce is survived by one brother, Ken (Iris) McKay, Windthorst, SK., one sister, Eleanor (George) Hodgins, Kennedy, SK., one sister-in-law, Amy McKay, Summerland, B.C., also his nieces and nephews. The McKay family would like to thank the staff of Lakeside Home Wolseley and to Dr. Bella-Lufu and the staff of Wolseley Hospital for the kindness and compassion given to Bruce while he was a resident of Lakeside Home.
