Ben Gorzo

May 8, 1924 - June 9, 2013

At 89 years of age, with family by his side, our soldier fought his last earthly battle and went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on June 9, 2013. He leaves to treasure his memory his wife Gladys of 61 years; his son Gary (special friend Judy); his daughter Debra (Derek) Coderre and their son Dustin. Grandchildren Laurie (Brent) Kelly and Greg (Paula) Sim. Great grandchildren: Matthew (special friend Becca), Jordan, Nathan, Carly and Cohen. He is also survived by two sisters Lena and Edith (Harvey); two brothers Willy and Emil (Irene) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his precious daughter Diann and son-in-law Harry in 2006; his parents; four brothers; two nephews; one brother-in-law; and many other special family and friends. To know him was to love him. A time of visitation will be Sunday, June 16th in the Tubman Funeral Home, Kipling, SK from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held Monday, June 17th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Parkland Bible Church, Kipling, with Pastor Lincoln Vellacott and Pastor Tim Diack officiating. Our husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa received the best care a family could ever ask for and our hearts will be forever grateful to the staff of the Kipling Memorial Health Centre.
