Paul T. Pitcher of Bristol died peacefully on May 18th after a brave and courageous battle with cancers. Born on September 26, 1945 in Waterbury CT, he was the son of the late William and Agnes (Lonergan) Pitcher.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Susan, his two daughters whom he cherished, Kim Anderson and husband Scott of Bristol, Dr. Tami Sullivan and husband Tim of Southington, and his sister Edna Anderson of Florida. He is also survived by his two grandchildren that he so adored and loved, Brennen and Kennedy Sullivan of Southington, and several nieces, a nephew and cousins.
Paul was a graduate of Crosby High School and served in the U.S. Army where he achieved status as an expert rifleman. He was employed in the Automotive business as Sales Manager and General Manager. Paul was an avid golfer, having been a member of Watertown Golf Club for over 25 years, where he carried a single digit handicap for years. He treasured all family time, especially with his grandchildren at his pool, the Cape Cod house and Disney trips. He was a Corvette enthusiast having owned 10 in his life. He also enjoyed carpentry and landscaping. He was a fan of the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and UCONN Women’s basketball.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 26th at 11 a.m. at St. Basil the Great Parish at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. There are no calling hours.
Memorial donations can be made to Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven Hospital.
