September 13, 1984 – April 18, 2025
Julie Ann Davis, a radiant soul with an infectious smile and boundless heart, unexpectedly passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion. She is survived by her cherished fiancé, Nick Pankosky; her beloved doggies, Drogo and Thumper; her devoted mother, Robin Dudley; her father, Richard Davis Jr., and his wife, Kathleen McFarland; and her brother, Richard Davis III, and his wife, Bridget Davis. Each of them carries a piece of her bright spirit, forever etched in their hearts.
Julie was a woman of strength, purpose, and incredible dedication—both in her personal life and in her career. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Springfield College and later followed her passion for helping others by obtaining her nursing degree from Naugatuck Valley Community College. For 19 years, she worked for the State of Connecticut at Connecticut Valley Hospital, where she was a committed and compassionate nurse in the forensic unit. Her colleagues remember her as a tireless advocate for her patients and a comforting presence through every challenge.
Beyond her work, Julie had an adventurous soul and a passion for discovering the world. One of her proudest memories was studying abroad at Wollongong University near Sydney, Australia—a time she held dear. She also explored Hawaii, the Caribbean, and loved setting sail on cruises, but no destination held her heart quite like Las Vegas.
Julie’s love for animals ran deep—Drogo and Thumper were not just pets, they were her family. She found peace at the beach, soaking in the sun with a cocktail in hand and a smile on her face. A true sneakerhead, she delighted in building her stylish collection of kicks, indulging in fine cuisine as a proud foodie, and savoring the thrill of a good scary movie. Her family often laughed in wonder at how the girl who once lived on chicken nuggets grew to love gourmet meals.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures too—shopping trips, card games (especially cribbage with her mom), and heartfelt moments shared with the people she loved. Julie’s presence was a gift, her energy unforgettable, and her kindness unmatched.
Her memory will live on in every beach sunset, in every cherished sneaker, in every paw print in the sand, and in the hearts of all who had the joy of knowing her.
Julie Ann Davis will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
