Gale A. Soden

Gale A. Soden, 58, of Naugatuck passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at her home. She was the loving wife of Linda Cline.

Born April 8, 1963 in Waterbury, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Graham) Soden.

Gale was a longtime active volunteer for Tail to Paws and children with disabilities.

In addition to her wife Linda, she leaves her two beautiful daughters, Carly Marie Soden of PA and Brittany Marie Soden of Branford and Christine Schmidlin of Middletown who was also like a daughter to her. A sister, Debra Avery and husband Kevin of Wolcott: a very special brother, Dave Godin of Wolcott and five wonderful grandchildren, Alyssa, Heather, Lexi, Natalie and JJ. She was also the best Auntie to Katlyn Pearl and Elijah David. Gale had many, many longtime friends, that were very special in her life and Nina and Chance were her very special fourlegged babies.

Gale is known for her contagious belly laugh and beautiful smile. When she walked into a room it just lit up, she always gave to others without question and expected nothing in return. She worked as a CNA for over 30 years and her patients were not just that, they were family. She loved to dance, Karaoke, and spend time with her family and friends whom she loved with all her heart. Her favorite place to relax was Cape Cod, and she will go there one more time for her final resting place at the ocean.
