Tony Rey Jr, 39 of Orlando, Florida passed away on October 6, 2016. He was born in Orlando on September 22, 1977. He graduated from Bishop Moore High School and received degrees in Finance and International Business from Florida International University. Tony worked in real estate development and construction. He spent the bulk of his career with his family’s companies, including Rey Homes. He was involved in a number of community organizations. He was a past Chairman of the Home Builder’s Latin Builders Council. He also served as Vice Chairman of the Orange County Board of Planning and Zoning and a board member of the Heavenly Hooves Foundation. Tony had a passion for fishing, water sports and creating laughter out of any situation. He was a car enthusiast and traveled on many mission trips. Tony was a loving and generous father, son, brother, nephew and friend. He is survived by two beautiful daughters, Isabella Marie and Leila Grace; his parents, Tony and Isabel Rey; his brothers, Eric Rey and Alex Rey; his grandmother, Gracia Marchena and his girlfriend, Melissa Sawyers. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 16th at 2 pm at the Winter Park First United Methodist Church. The church is located at 125 N. Interlachen Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32789.
