Tom Lowe was born on Thanksgiving, November 25, 1963 in St. Petersburg, Florida. The family settled in Winter Park, Florida in 1965 where Tom attended Aloma Elementary, Glenridge Middle, and Winter Park High. After experiencing only a few means of employment, he tried tree work and fell in love. After that he dedicated his life to the care and maintenance of trees.
He started a business, A-1 Arborist, in the late 80's and contributed to his community by helping to save nuisance trees or removing unsafe ones. With his business he helped a lot of people by employing them or giving them a hand up.
He loved all animals, especially cats, rescuing 15 or more throughout his life.
Tom will be truly missed by everyone who entered his life. He is survived by his mother Sally, brothers Bob and Perry, nephews Michael and David, and niece Ashley.
