Paul Maloney

Paul spent his childhood in Indiana until his family moved in 1955 to Orlando, Florida. He began his senior year at Boone High School and was a member of the football and basketball teams and was voted “Mr. Wonderful.” Paul graduated in 1956 and enlisted in the United States Army Reserves with many of his high school friends.

When Paul was 19, he began a lifelong career with Publix Supermarkets and worked for them for 60 years. He was their longest tenured employee. In 1959 Paul married the love of his life, Loretta.

They were happily married for 62 years until Loretta entered heaven in 2021. They raised two children, Dianne (Mark) and Rick (Diane). Paul had 8 grandchildren- Taylor (Nick), Justin, Luke (Brianna), Michael, Hannah, Sam, Bailey and Drew in addition to 1 great grandchild, Jace. Paul entered Heaven on August 21, 2023.

He is survived by his brother, Dale Maloney and his many and beloved nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will gather together from 11am - 12pm to pay honor and tribute to Paul during a visitation on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Ascension Lutheran Church, 351 Asension Drive, Casselberry, FL 32707. A Funeral Service and Celebration of Paul’s Life and Legacy will begin at 12pm with a reception to follow. Interment will be private at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, FL.
