Paul M. Boggs (1959 - 2017) Paul M. Boggs passed away Friday, March 24, 2017, at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, FL. He was born January 22, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA to Paul G. Boggs and Joan M. Crosby. Upon an Honorable Discharge from the Navy, he lived most of his life in Philadelphia and Bensalem, PA working at his much-loved job as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. His favorite pastimes were spending time with family and friends, just happy to be with them, working on his '69 Chevy, watching Movies and Races, goin' fishin' and having a cold beer. Life was simple and that's how he liked it. Paul was loyal and devoted to family and friends. If you knew him, you were greeted with a "YO" and a bear-hug. He was a selfless person who always put the well-being of others before himself and had a giving and loving nature. Just saying Hello to him "Made his Day." If he made you laugh, he was happy. These special qualities made him loved and memorable to all who met him. Paul was diagnosed with ALS in 2011 (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) commonly known as Lou Gehrigs Disease. It is a progressive Motor Neuron Disease that robs a person of the ability to breath, speak, swallow or move. It is 100% terminal. Even though he couldn't move, he was the strongest and bravest person I know. His will to live was so strong that he never stopped fighting to survive and never lost hope that there would one day be a cure. #nowhiteflags http://alsa.org/ http://alswalks.org/ Paul wanted to say a Special Thank You to his most devoted cousin, Kylee Kuc, who sent him so many Get Well Cards, loving Letters and beautiful Drawings. He wanted you to know that you always made him smile and he loved you very much!! He was much-loved by his family and will be missed. We can celebrate his life by remembering the joy he has given us, remembering how important family is and to live life to the fullest while we can because our health isn't promised.
