Michele Martin would like to notify her many friends and patients that her work here on earth is done. God unexpectedly called his little angel home on January 17, 2017. Michele was the personification of love for her husband, Sam, her daughters, Kayte and Kari, her family and all those she touched. She was called to be a nurse and was selfless. She was a spiritual person who strongly believed in an afterlife. With that in mind she donated her earthly body so that others may have life. She is now with her father and stepfather. "I see you wish the days away Begging to have me home So I try to send you signs So you know you are not alone Don't feel guilty that you have Life that was denied to me Heaven's truly beautiful Just you wait and see So live your life, laugh again Enjoy yourself, be free Then I know with every breath you take, you'll be sharing one for me" Michele touched our hearts with her unfailing love and support, made us all better and gave us an example we can only try to follow. As she used to say, "You only go around once and this ain't no dress rehearsal." Carpe diem. Farewell and Godspeed. There will be a celebration of life held at the Country Club of Orlando on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. In honor of celebrating Michele's life, please do not wear black, as her spirit was as colorful as the rainbow. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made towards the establishment of a Nursing Scholarship in her name.
