Marjorie moved to Orlando in 1968 with her late husband, John Barnes, and 6 children. Marjorie loved spending time outdoors in the warm Florida sunshine, she kept her mind sharp working word search puzzles, and she was a tennis enthusiast. After moving to Florida Marjorie went to work at George Stuarts in a clerical capacity while raising her children, and some years later worked at Walmart also performing clerical duties.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ida, husband John, 3 sisters Ruth, Ida, and Sara, and 4 brothers, William, Norman, George, and Harry. Marjorie is survived by her younger sister Jackie, 4 daughters Sherral, husband Robert, Marjorie, husband Charles of Carrollton, Ga, Doris and Jayme of Orlando, 2 sons James and Robert, grandson Chase Bartlett, wife Amanda, and 2 great grandchildren Rylee and Lucas all of Orlando, FL.
Marjorie was laid to rest on November 20, 2023 at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, FL.
