Margaret Alvarez

Margaret Alvarez, 88, of Orlando, FL passed away peacefully June 19, 2016. Margaret was a native of Orlando, but married Clinton and moved to Starke, FL where she graduated from Bradford County High School. She later returned to Orlando living in College Park, where she raised her family.

Margaret worked as an insurance agent and was the President of Insurance Women of Orlando/Winter Park 1953 - 1954. She had a passion for reading and loved playing games with her children and grandchildren.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Clinton Lavon Alvarez. She is survived by her daughters Janelle Alvarez & Karen Alvarez Kuge (Joe). Grandchildren Erika Kuge Huff, Donald A. Kuge, Devin M. Whitney, Katie E. Whitney. Great-grandchildren: Alexander, Leah and Dana Huff. Chloe Elizabeth Kuge, Hank Hudson She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday June 22, from 5-7PM at Baldwin Fairchild Lake Ivanhoe. Celebration of Margaret’s life will take place at Killarney Baptist Church, Winter Park, on Thursday June 23, at 11:00AM.
