I had the pleasure of knowing John during most of his tenure at Lockheed Martin.  He was kind, intelligent and so well liked and respected.   He always made me smile when we were in meeting together or I’d see him in the LM hallways.   He was such an amazing inspiration to me and so many others.  He has a special place in my heart.     He will truly be missed.   

Evans family, I'm so sorry for your loss. John was one of the most wonderful human beings I've known. He was completely hilarious and wickedly smart with a wonderful heart. Growing alongside John from an intern to a technical leader was a privilege. Calling him my friend was an honor. I will miss him immensely.

Like many, I worked with John at LM and our friendship centered around UCF athletics.  His wit, his intelligence, his kindness and his friendship are all great traits I will cherish and never forget.

We all loved John and my life is better for being able to witness his strength, determination and courage.

John was a great person. Prior to working with him I would see him in the spine at LM and wonder what he was like and what he did. When I got to work with him, I was amazed at what an intelligent person he was and how personable he was. We had great conversations about UCF football and Mets baseball.  When it came to work, he was a gifted engineer and someone who would go out of his way to help out. I will remember his smile and his friendship. Rest in Peace my friend. 

I've had the distinct pleasure to have worked with John through multiple programs.  He was always both the smartest and humblest person in the room in every case.  His outlook on life during our personal conversations always felt inspiring to me.  He will be greatly missed...

John was an amazing software engineer and an even better person. Working with him on solutions and just talking with him about life and overcoming challenge (Of which he was King) is forever inspiring. 
Hope you’re getting some chess time in brother! You will be sorely missed.

John has left a lasting impression on my life!  I met him when I started working at LM, and really enjoyed our talks walking up and down the spine!  He was the kind of person that I knew would do anything to help me, and that made me want to do anything for him in return!  John and I would talk now and then when I happened to run into him at work after I left the program we worked on together.  I’m very sad that I won’t have the privilege of running into him at work anymore, but I hope to see him again someday!  He was truly an inspiration and a friend to all that knew him!

John was an amazing person. He was a light in this world. He was super funny and super hardworking. He amazed me with just how much work he was able to accomplish. He was a good friend and a joy to work with. I’ll miss his smart remarks, his delicious salsa, and his fantasy football trash talk. He always made things fun even when things were tough. I miss seeing him everyday and talking to him. Rest in peace John. My thoughts and prayer are with Barbara and his family. 

John and I worked together for over 20 years.  He was one of the best engineers that I have ever worked with, and he was one of the few that I could trust to just get it done.  John was even a better person than he was an engineer, and I will always cherish our chats about everything and nothing.  We had a really tight team on our program so this loss is very tough.  I wish peace and love to all of those impacted by his unexpected passing.

I was blessed to meet John when I started dating my husband and was so lucky to see not only how amazing a best friend he was, but how absolutely wonderful John was as a person. 
I have so many fond memories of watching UCF games, visiting John next door or listening to John and Shawn as they spent hours (literally) on the phone playing games or just catching up.  
John was kind. John was caring. John was what every human should strive to be.  My world will always be a better place because he was a part of my life.
Things will never be the same without his soft voice, silly sense of humor or his UCF cheers, but the memories will forever be close at heart.  Heaven has no idea how lucky they are to have gained such an amazing angel. 
I miss you John.

The first time I met John, we were sitting in our Thermodynamics class in the mid-90s at UCF. John was one of the smartest people I know, and it was unbelievable what John has been able to accomplish. Upon our graduation, I was excited to learn that we not only joined LM, but also were working on the same program, WARSIM, together. Throughout the years, I have watched John grow to be a great teammate and friend. He was relied upon and loved by many. Just last month, I recalled congratulating John on becoming a First Line Manager at LM. John and I also shared the same passion for UCF, especially for UCF Football. He was an active fan and poster to the UCF message board. One of my favorite messages on the message board came from John--"Sometimes it's nice to remember where you came from to appreciate where you are at". This quote captures the great and appreciative person that John really was. 

Knight Nation and LM loss a really good one, but heaven gained a really great one. Until we meet again my friend! GKCO

I met John at work when he came to the JLCCTC program for the first time. We worked together for gosh, over 20 years and I am grateful to have known such a remarkable person. He was an outstanding leader and a good friend. I will miss our brainstorming sessions, our UCF Knights game analysis chats, and sharing cool aquarium finds and cute cat stories.  The world was a better place with him in it. My heart goes out to the family with love and peace. 

John John was the smartest and strongest man I have ever met. He was an amazing big brother and I will miss him getting me into trouble just so he could laugh at me. I have no words, I don't think I can eloquently verbalize how much he meant to all those who loved him. I will be forever grateful that God chose him to be my big brother. I love you John.
