        ...Even though we will all miss Mr. John dearly,  I'm glad that he is not suffering any longer and is now enjoying his new heavenly home. 
 
            I was truly blessed to have a friend and boss like Mr.John.  I'm very grateful for having him in my world the time I did.  He was an awesome person.   Such a loving personality, a giving heart, always made people smile.  He taught me so much; most remembered and will always bring a smile to my face will be the love he taught me for all nature.  He loved having breakfast on the back porch as we visited & shared our time together.  Just taking time to look up at the clouds, and hear the planes go by.  We actually got to name a couple of his squirrels, birds and some of the fish in his pond.  
        

    In the beginning, He impacted my heart by taking me in the way he did.  The Pearsons brought me over to his home & introduced me as we shared stories of me working for there parents.(etc), I realize it was under protest at first but within days we were by each others side like if it had been years. Driving fast down Beechnut, grocery shopping & going everywhere together.  He often introduced me as his "Susie".  Slowly but surely I knew I was a friend for life as he was mine.  I knew he would support me in everything I did. He shared his points of view and ultimately was there for me always.      
         

  I was blessed to travel with him down to Florida & spend time with him and Vicky and her family.  On the plane ride up- he & I exchanged many thoughts,prayers,laughter and tears.  That will always remain close to my heart.   
          

 Thank you Mr. John for all the memories & giving me a piece of your heart.!!!

You all our in our thoughts and prayers.  Uncle Johnny w a very special person, and will be truly missed, but it is also a time to rejoice because he is now with Aunt Jeanette. And they are together again.

John was special!  He was a dear friend, counselor, confidant, and comedian. He had a way of playing with words to make jokes out of the most innocent conversation. John was a true Christian, and a talented handyman. He also loved animals, entertaining, and camping. He was family to us, although we never decided if he was a dad, or a brother.

John was a special friend for a long time.   He held parties at his house - everyone would come bringing so much food!   He loved having his friends around him.  He was funny, drove too fast and loved to do almost anything anyone suggested.  He was good man.  John overcame so many health issues but always came back and was so very positive and upbeat.  I spent many fun times with John.  I loved him - he was so special and will be missed.

I never had a better friend than John - always there to help anyone, even when things were tough for him. He always had a smile and a sly humor. I hold wonderful memories to carry always. It comforts me greatly to know that John now rests in the loving arms of our Lord. May our Lord comfort and encourage his family.

I'll never forget John's enthusiasm for life and his love to be behind the wheel!  For friends residing in the Houston Area there will be a concurrent Prayer Vigil and John "storytelling" held at All Saints Episcopal Church at 6:30 - 7:30 pm.  All Saints was one of John's loving families through the years.
