Ingrid Rosa Summchen Lang age 79 of Casselberry, passed away on December 6, 2015. She was born in Laubusch Germany on November 8, 1936. She married William Jackson Lang on August 26, 1957. Ingrid had a career in Electronics and had worked for A.B.B. Johnson Electric. She was a member of the American/German club and had a passion for gardening and animal rescue. Ingrid's family was the world to her. Ingrid, in her late teens, had a strong desire to find her only relatives in the United States, an aunt and uncle, who had left Germany's unrest in the 1940's. All she had to go on was there name and a Orlando address. She found her way to Berlin and then to New Youk City, not speaking the language she met her future husband who helped her find her family in Orlando. She became a United States citizen on April 20, 1961. She is survived by her five children Steven Hunter (Laura) Lang, Dennins Ray (Elizabeth)Lang, Rose Mary (Greg) McIntyre, William James (Karen) Lang, Julie Ingrid Myers. She had six grandchildren Stephanie Marie Lang-Kleinfelt (Kyle Kosmicki), Shawn Hunter (Jazmine) Lang, Krista Lang, Jermemy Lang, Amber Mae McIntyre, Amanda Lang. She has 6 great-grandchildren. Ingrid is also survived by her brothers Monfred and Deiter Summchen in Germany. She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Liddy Summchen, husband William Jackson Lang, granddaughter Shannon Rose McIntyre, brothers Hans and Gunter Summchen.
