Mr. Henry "Hank" Claude Turner

Henry C. “Hank” Turner passed away on August 3, 2020. He was born in Edison, Georgia on September 16, 1934. He graduated from Edison High School in 1951, and Stetson University in 1955. After college, he served in the Army for 2 years stationed in Frankfurt, Germany, and upon his discharge was awarded the V Corps Certificate of Achievement. His business career was in banking and finance retiring from Sun Trust Bank in 1999.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winter Park for many years where he taught a Sunday School Class.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, son Daniel Axman, daughter Anne Smith, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his twin sister, Helen Rodgers and had a sister Shirley Christie who lived in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The funeral will be held at First Baptist Church of Winter Park, N. 1021 New York Avenue on Saturday, August 15, 2020. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park. Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home of Winter Park is in charge of arrangements.
