Elizabeth “Libby” Yost, of Orlando, Florida, peacefully passed away on May 27th, 2014 at the age of 81. She was born in West Virginia on February 19th, 1933. Libby was preceded in death by her son Steve Thompson. She is survived by her partner, George, her two children,and five grandchildren. She is also survived by five great grandchildren who live in the Central Florida area. Libby retired from Eastern Airlines in 1989 and then dedicated many years of her life as secretary to Monsignor Harte at Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine. She loved to travel around the world, but most of all she loved spending time in the Rocky Mountains of North Carolina. Those who knew Libby could see a light around her. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say to everyone she met. She was a beautiful person inside and out and will be sorely missed by her family and friends. The family will receive friends for a viewing on Friday, June 6th, from 6 to 8 pm. A commemorative service will also be held at the Baldwin Fairchild on Lake Ivanhoe on Saturday, June 7th at 10 am.
