She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, attended Penn State University, and the Philadelphia General Hospital school of nursing. She was married to William Rizzo in 1968. Kenzie was a registered nurse and worked for Florida Hospital for 40 years. She was an avid supporter of the local equestrian community and was passionate for her grandchildren. She was survived by her husband, Bill, two daughters, Audrey and Ellen, and six grandchildren.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, 7520 Aloma Avenue, Winter Park, Florida 32792.
