She is survived by her husband, Richard; children, Karl Backus, Clark and his wife Cindy Backus, Bill and his wife Joanne Dehler, James Dehler and Cindy and her husband, Michael Singletary; daughter in law, Meira; grandchildren, Sara, Kyle, Jason, Adam, Xerik, Kaitlynn, Ryan, Robert, Christopher, Jeffery, William and Richard; great grandchildren, Rory, Esme, Dani, Kaylee and Billy. She was proceded in death by three of her children, Joanne, Kathy and Richard.
A funeral mass for Doris will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 5300 Old Howell Branch Rod, Winter Park, FL 32792. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
