Born April 14, 1953 in Flemington, NJ to Theodore and Geraldine (Mitchell) Dilts, Charles was known as Howie to his family and Charlie to friends. He was the second of five children and grew up in Lebanon, NJ.
He served for over 20 years in the U.S. Navy around the world before retiring as RMC Radioman Chief on October 31, 1991 from the USS Wisconsin, after being stationed in the Persian Gulf.
Charles is predeceased by his wife Martha and parents Theodore and Geraldine. He is survived by sisters Dianne Miller (Britt) of Phillipsburg, NJ; Judi Hashagen of East Stroudsburg, PA, and Su Morin (Jean), of Casselberry, FL and brother David Dilts (Andrea) of Hampton, NJ. As well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
There are no services scheduled, interment will be private.
