Born in Russellville, Arkansas, he was the son of Carl and Frankie (Weir) Weisinger. Carl graduated from Edgewater High School in 1963 and married his best friend Diane Hiatt on June 17th, 1978.
Carl had a career as a track operator and promoter, dedicating most of his time to Orlando Speed World Dragway. Carl's legacy in drag racing and his contributions to Orlando Speed World are immeasurable. His passion for life in the fast lane carried on into retirement as he continued to race at a local and national level.
Carl’s personality was infectious, and he had a way of making almost everyone smile. He had a love for Boston’s Fish House and never missed an exit with a Cracker Barrel. Along with food, Carl also loved his dogs and was still waiting on Jennifer Aniston to call him back.
In addition to his loving wife of 45 years, Diane Weisinger of Orlando, he leaves behind countless memories to be cherished by his son, Randy Weisinger; grandchildren Shelby Wood and husband Derrick, Lillian Weisinger, Lyndin; great-grandchildren, Waylon and Cash Wood; and several nieces and nephews.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Frankie Weisinger.
