Miguel “Mike” Lopez, 82, of Winter Haven, FL, passed away on December 26, 2013 at his home due to dementia. He was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. He retired after many years of work with Bank of New York Mellon and Citi Bank, both in New York City. He attended Iglesia Misionera in Lakeland.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Lopez. He is survived by his children, Raymond Lopez (Janet) and Diana Acevedo (Harry), four grandchildren, Harry Jr., Erica, Lauren, and Jonathan, and three great grandchildren, Devin, Aislynn, and Brooklynn. The family would like to offer a special thank you to his caregivers, Carlos Gonzalez and Sonia Rivera. Mike is loved and will be missed by his family until they meet again.
A visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 30th, from 6 to 8 pm at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven and a funeral service will be held at 2pm onTuesday, Dec. 31st, at New Hope Church in Winter Haven.
