Karen Colleen Anderson

Karen Colleen Spann-Amen-Anderson passed away quietly in her Auburndale, Florida home on Friday, December 11. She is survived by her husband, Gene Anderson, 4 step children Andrea Jones, Michelle McClintock, Mark Anderson, and Sharla Schultz; sister Rhonda (Jack) Nehr of Millville; children Brad Amen, Elisa (Doug) Amen-Prather, Kara Amen-Larrucea and Trent (Marlene) Amen. Karen adored her 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and they were her greatest joy. Karen was a retired Registered Nurse, a member of the Auburndale Lions Club, a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Auburndale and an avid reader. She was a kind and caring soul who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A visitation for Karen will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Central Baptist Church, 57 6th St NW, Winter Haven, Florida with a funeral service to follow. An interment will occur at Anderson Cemetery in Redding, California.

In lieu of flowers gifts to the Gideons International would be appreciated. One $5.00 Bible given will reach 2300 people over a space of 6 years in a hotel, motel or hospital.
