Judith "Judy" V. Holt

Judy went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2023. Born and raised in Utica, NY, Judy moved to Winter Haven in 1972 and blended her family with that of George A. Holt. Together they raised eight children. During her 30+ year healthcare career she worked tirelessly as a Medical Social Worker and in other capacities at several facilities in Winter Haven, including Grovemont, Brandywyne, and Winter Haven Hospital. She was widely known for treating her patients and their families with the utmost respect and dignity, always seeking to put their needs and best interest first. Judy was a faithful member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winter Haven for over 50 years, where she also exercised her gifts for serving others. She will always be remembered and treasured for her loving kindness towards all.

Judy was preceded in death in 2006 by her devoted husband of 34 years, George A. Holt. More recently she was preceded in death by her beloved friend and companion, Paul D. Wells, Sr. Also preceding her in death were her son, Douglas R. Kinch (1997), and her daughter, Marlene (Kinch) Weber (2002).

Judy is survived by six children: Rose (Holt) and Calvin L. Speicher of Auburndale; Donald A. Kinch of Oviedo, FL; Lori (Holt) and William Henderson III of Lakeland; Holly (Holt) and Will Herman of Hamilton, AL; Teresa (Kinch) and Matt Dudley of Whitehouse, TX; George W. "Jay" and Penni Holt of Winter Park, FL. Judy was blessed with 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is Wednesday, 2/22, 4-7 PM at Ott-Laughlin in Winter Haven. Funeral is Thursday 2/23, 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Winter Haven.
