Jose E Arroyo

Jose E. Arroyo, 61, of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on December 21, 2017. He was born in East Chicago, Indiana on September 17, 1956. He moved to this area eight years ago from Schererville, Indiana. He was retired from his work as a steel worker.

Mr. Arroyo was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He had many hobbies that he enjoyed like cars, comics, puzzles, and movies. Many may remember him as the jokester as he thought of himself as a comedian. He always remembered his friends and family back in the harbor. He made it a priority to spend time with them whether it was going to a game or just hanging out.

Mr. Arroyo was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Flora Arroyo, brother, Angel Arroyo, and a son, Kevin Arroyo. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Arroyo of Winter Haven, son, Michael Arroyo (Brandi) of Richmond, Indiana, daughter, Kelly Arroyo (John) of Merrillville, Indiana, brother, Juan Arroyo (Martha) of Crown Point, Indiana, sister, Maria Arroyo of East Chicago, Indiana, brother, Hector Arroyo (Cathy) of Griffith, Indiana, and grandchildren; Vanessa, Johnny, Cayden, Michael, Robert, and Trista.
