Daisy Ellen Weston

WINTER HAVEN - Daisy Ellen Weston, 92, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015. Daisy was born in Valdosta, GA on May 7, 1922. She was a nurse for Gessler Clinic from 1967, till her retirement. She was a member of Church of Latter Day Saints and actively served in the Orlando Temple. She was also a member of the Collectibles Sewing Club.Daisy is survived by her daughter, Mary Frances and son in law, Harold Covey of Orlando, FL; grandson, David Elliott and wife, Evelyn Elliott of Orlando, FL; granddaughter, Mileigha Wofford and husband, Tommy Wofford of Winston Salem, NC; granddaughter, Michelle Matthiesen and husband Scott of Melbourne, FL; eleven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Daisy was a seam stress, a quilt maker, a homemaker, a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a great great grandmother. She performed all of these roles exceedingly well with humor, grace, and dignity. Daisy was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.Visitation will be on Monday, May 4, 2015, from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 5, 2015, 10:00 am at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven. Interment to follow at Lakeside Memorial Park
